A portrait on its own, represents a person. An architectural photo on its own, represents the buildings character by itself. By taking a portrait of a person in front of a building, a sort of story may be formed, a relation between the person and the building may be deduced, a history of the people and their architectural ingenuity may be derived. In "Facades and Faces" the photographer aims to point at a story by taking a portrait of a person in a specific architectural setting. Within each photo shown in this project, there is a story behind it.
